A 19th century farmstead devoted to interpreting agricultural and rural heritage. The Greek Revival Farmhouse at Historic Oak View County Park was built by Benton S.D. Williams in 1855. The Greek Revival style is typified by the front columns and the double portico porch. During the 1940's the Poole Family renovated the home, building an addition in the Colonial Revival Style. Completed in 1997, the Farm History Center is the newest building on the site. It is dedicated to telling the story of North Carolina's agricultural development from colonial times to the present through programs and interactive exhibits.

The RBC Center (originally the Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena) is an indoor arena located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is home to the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL and the North Carolina State University Wolfpack men's basketball team of NCAA Division I. The arena also hosted the Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football League from 2000 to 2002. The arena neighbors Carter-Finley Stadium, home of Wolfpack Football; the North Carolina State Fairgrounds; and Dorton Arena (on the Fairgrounds).

The North Carolina State Capitol, completed in 1840, is one of the finest and best-preserved examples of a major civic building in the Greek Revival style of architecture. It is a National Historic Landmark. Capital Area Visitor Services (CAVC) is now located in the lobby of the North Carolina Museum of History. It is a permanent information and rest center for more than 100,000 annual visitors to Raleigh's state-owned and cultural attractions. Groups of 10 or fewer wanting only to tour the Executive Mansion should call Pat Brock at (919) 807-7948 for scheduling. The century-old Executive Mansion is one of the finest examples of Victorian Queen Anne architecture in North Carolina. The steeply pitched roofs, cupola, richly colored textural surfaces, porches and pavilions, projecting patterned chimneys and elaborate mass-produced turned porch woodwork characterize this architectural style. In 1883, noted architects Samuel Sloan and A.G. Bauer designed the residence with spacious halls and reception rooms, massive stairway and 16-foot ceilings, which reflect its official purposes.
